🧵 What is This For?
This snap tape is used for creating Ripple Fold drapery panels. You sew it along the top back edge of the panel, then snap it into gliders (carriers) that run along the drapery track.
📏 How to Order the Right Amount
To order correctly, you need to know the flat width of the fabric you’ll be using for your panel.
(Drapery panels are measured flat, before the pleats or folds are created.)
👉 Example:
If your panel is 100 inches wide (flat)
→ Divide by 36 to convert to yards
→ 100 ÷ 36 = 2.77 → Order 3 yards of snap tape
🔄 Don't Forget the Carriers (Gliders)!

This snap tape works with Item 1786 carriers (sold separately).

There are approximately 15 snaps per yard of tape.

So you’ll need 15 gliders for every yard of tape.
🧮 Example:
If you’re ordering 3 yards of snap tape,
→ You’ll need 45 snap carriers (3 × 15).
✅ TIP: Always order a few extra gliders.
Also, make sure you end up with an even number of snaps for proper hanging.
